Quotes by Toni Sorenson

A woman who truly loves herself better loves others.

Every morning we wake up with the same choice: What will my attitude be today? Ask yourself that without fail. Decide that no matter what the day brings, your attitude will include three elements: an awareness of how far you’ve come, gratitude for where you are, and determination to keep moving in the right direction.

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing is more powerful in deciding the quality of life than attitude.

Do you really want to know the simplest secret to a happy life and a positive attitude? It’s believing that God is on your side; that He’s actively working on your behalf, that he loves you and is capable of completely forgiving you.

When we go through life believing that we need mercy, we’re more likely to extend it. As humans our tendency is to want justice for others, but mercy for ourselves. It doesn’t work that way. We reap what we sow. (Galatians 6:7) And the timing isn’t ours—it’s God’s. He often extends us mercy, not when we are well behaved, but when we are miserable, helpless, wicked, ungodly, and powerless. Even when we bring on our problems by our own choices, His mercy comes when we cry for it. To refuse to cry for it because we feel unworthy, is a win for Satan.

Every day is as amazing as we decide it is.

We cannot control all the circumstances of our lives, but we can control our attitudes and our actions. If we don’t, someone else will.

We might not be grateful for all things, but we can be grateful in all moments

An aware heart is a grateful heart.

To improve quality of life, to evolve into a better version of ourselves, to pause in recognition of blessings with only our name on the tag, to dance in graitutde, to embrance with abandon, to give without receiving, to seek the face of God ... all this and more is why we exisit.

How do you know which path you should take? Take one and it will tell you if youve chosen wisely. If not, choose a different path. Thats the gift life offers freely.

Our business is to be free of anything that separates us from God, who has created us to simply be happy and to progress.

Even indecision is a decision.

We might give God our tithing, our material possessions, even our time and talents, but those are not really ours to begin with. They are gifts on loan. What is ours is the only genuine sacrifice we can lay on the altar—total submission.

Never be afraid to share your story. No one can tell it like you can.

We tend to see what we are looking for.

Any thought that you don’t control has the power to become toxic.

A great life begins with a great thought.

A true Christian does not judge whether a person is worthy of help, but only judges a need and how to best meet that need.

Picture for a moment the scene of a son carrying wood up a hill. He is about to make the greatest sacrifice he can make. Is it Abraham’s Isaac? Or Heavenly Father’s Jehovah? It is both. It is you. YOU are also God’s child. If He required so much from them, why should He require less from us? He doesn’t. He doesn’t want a portion. He requires our all.
