I have no problems with private schools. I graduated from one and so did my mother. Private schools are useful and we often use public funds to pay for their infrastructures and other common needs.

But reducing harmful emissions, abating our dependence on foreign oil and developing alternative renewable energy sources have benefits that go beyond environmental health, they improve personal health, enhance national security and encourage our nations economic viability.

Environmental policy must strike a balance between the earths best interests and our citizens pressing needs.

Environmental protection doesnt happen in a vacuum. You cant separate the impact on the environment from the impact on our families and communities.
