“Patriotism is voluntary. It is a feeling of loyalty and allegiance that is the result of knowledge and belief. A patriot shows their their patriotism through their actions, by their choice.”

“Wrestling is ballet with violence.”

“I asked him [Dalai Lama] the most important question that I think you could ask - if he had ever seen Caddy Shack.”

“If you were to come to Minnesota, I could have you locked up like that. Thats power.”

“Congratulations, you have a sense of humor. And to those who didnt: Go stick your head in the mud.”

“You cant legislate morality.”

“I dont know why Im being attracted to gambling considering I dont do it myself very often. Just because I personally dont partake so much doesnt mean that I cant be an advocate for it if people do indulge in it because its entertainment.”

“I feel strongly that people should be able to choose how they spend their entertainment dollars. Its none of the governments business.”

“I dont know why Im being attracted to gambling, considering I dont do it myself very often.”

I love my country, not my government.

You give me a water board, Dick Cheney and one hour, and Ill have him confess to the Sharon Tate mur

Learn from history or youre doomed to repeat it.

I speak my mind. If it offends some people, well, theres not much I can do about that. But Im going to be honest. Im going to continue to speak my mind, and thats who I am...

I have an idea about voting, how about on every ballot we include None of the above. People may laugh at that, but what that is, it is a vote of no confidence in your government and Im willing to bet that in some elections, None of the Above would win. Imagine if you won the election but lost to None of the Above. Wouldnt that make you re-think your positions?

Amazingly, all the charges: the embassy of 98 and this other stuff is all listed. But, ironically nothing on 9/11. NOTHING! Now when the FBI was pressed as to why 9/11 wasnt included, their response was We dont have enough evidence. Now, people, if youre like me that is extremely disturbing; weve fought two wars, weve changed our entire foreign policy and weve had the PATRIOT act put on us, all, supposedly, because of Osama Bin Laden!

Its a good thing Im not the president, because I would prosecute everybody who was involved in that torture, I would prosecute the people who did it, I would prosecute the people who ordered it and they would all go to jail! Because Torture is against the law!

We call our country home of the brave and land of the free, but its not. We give a false portrayal of freedom. Were not free — if we were, wed allow people their freedom. Prohibiting something doesnt make it go away. Prostitution is criminal, and bad things happen because its run illegally by dirt-bags who are criminals. If its legal, then the girls could have health checks, unions, benefits, anything any other worker gets, and it would be far better.

If Waterboarding is okay, then why dont we let our police do it to criminals so they can find out what they know? Because its against the law. If were not going to be a country that stands for the rule of law, when its convenient or inconvenient, then what DO we stand for.

Remember something, if you will, about voting: Voting is not a horse race, youre not going there thinking Gee, I gotta pick the winner so I can brag to my friends Oh, I picked so-and-so and he or she won. Voting is voting your heart and voting your conscience and when youve done that, dont ever, EVER let a Democrat or Republican tell you that youve wasted your vote because the fact is, if you DONT vote your heart and conscience then you HAVE wasted your vote.
