One of the values of centering prayer is that you are not thinking about God during the time of centering prayer so you are giving God a chance to manifest. In centering prayer there are moments of peace that give the psyche a chance to realize that God may not be so bad after all. God has a chance to be himself for a change.
“Either he was unsuccessful in recruiting a sufficient number of qualified and talented people, or he is conceding he cannot gain enough support to replace the entire board and seek more modest changes. It's possible in a company that big that seeking more modest changes increases your chance of getting a result.”
We don't notice things change. We know that things change, we've been told since childhood that things change, we've witnessed things change ourselves many a time, and yet we're still utterly incapable of noticing the moment that change comes--or we search for change in all the wrong places.
When you change the way you feel, it changes the way you think. When you change the way you think, you change the way you deal with everything in life.
To change you must want to change, you must be responsible for the change, and then take action to make the change. It is your race to run so you need to choose your road wisely.
“We will continue to change as health care is an ever-changing industry.”
“The economic situation has changed and we need to cope with that change.”
“Music can change the world because it can change people.”
“It is easier to change the location of a cemetery, than to change the school curriculum”
“If you can't change your fate, change your attitude.”
