The thing I love most about Advent is the heartbreak. The utter and complete heartbreak.

Heartbreak is an altogether different thing. Disappointment doesn't grow into heartbreak, nor does failure...It comes form the loss of love or the perceived loss of love...Heartbreak is what happens when love is lost.

Love is about heartbreak, If you think it’s fulfillment, happiness, satisfaction, union, it's even more heartbreak.

For the most part, that message hasn't changed a lot over the years - love is still love, and heartbreak is still heartbreak.
