“I'll take these gentlemen to battle any week. After what we've been through on this trip -- bad weather and delays -- we still lined up and played ball. We played good enough to win, and we know we can handle adversity.”
“Right now, we're just plugging away, but we've got to start finding somebody who can get us to the end zone quickly. And when something negative happens, we seem to have trouble with adversity. It's a lack of confidence right now.”
“I think it's a journey that's been great. We've been tested in every single way imaginable, and I think it's going to help us in the end, battling through adversity and doing what we need to do in the end to win the game.”
“Really, this has been a tough season. We've had some chemistry issues. We've had to practice with machinery going on, so that we could barely hear each other. There's just been a lot of adversity, some of it self-made, but we came together.”
“We've had a lot of adversity, a lot of stuff said about our team. We've got to ignore that stuff. Coach is a great coach and we hate to see him go down that path. We're trying to play as hard as we can to prevent that from happening.”
“We set up ourselves for some adversity. You're the first ones here and you're the last ones to leave. We're tired, but yet we don't let our team have any less expectations. We've only won our tournament once, and that was in 1999.”
“We did not see evidence of any adverse effects of a low-fat diet, and we see some trends toward health benefits, especially for breast cancer. So, we think that women who are currently on a low-fat diet can confidently continue on such a diet.”

This Bible of Mine? It is the breath of God spoken into my weary bones. It is the armor I need to walk the roads He has chosen for me, and it's the confirmation of promises that withstand the test of hours and adversity. It's a love letter, and it has my name on it. It has your name on it.
The beautiful thing about the NFL season is to see a team come together after they get to know each other in the spring and summer. You then go through adversity together and see how you respond. The teams that can respond in a positive way are the teams that are going to be there in the end.
