“The car was a lot more stable in qualifying than it was in practice ... I feel like we've got room to improve and I don't have quite as much of a death grip on the wheel, so we'll take it from there in tonight's practice. Hopefully we can make the car a bit quicker. Last year we struggled in qualifying, but had a very good race car, so we were able to work our way through the pack. This year we're starting a little further up the grid so I think we can challenge early in the race and hopefully end up with a good result.”

“I'm very satisfied with the team's performance at our first spring tournament. We improved throughout the day and implemented our new serve-receive system very well. The team played with composure and consistency all day while competing against a wide variety of teams that each had different styles and strengths. The team adapted very well to this challenge, and the weekend proved that not only have our physical abilities improved, but so have our mental ones. Players were multi-tasking the strategic part of the game while also easily executing physical skill - a true sign of a veteran team.”

“Even though college was a great experience and it got me out of the retail world and into a graphics-related career, I feel that most of my actual drawing skills have been self-taught. I've always known that I could draw, but I don't think I really tried to push myself or improve as an artist until recent years, and as a result I think I'm a much better illustrator today than I was even a year ago. It took me awhile to realize that in order to grow as an artist, I have to evolve and open myself to new ideas, techniques and challenges.”
