Art is a relection of the mind and a vision of the heart.
A different language is a different vision of life.
Now the thing is no longer a vision: it is paper.
Vision looks upward and becomes faith.
“There are as many styles of beauty as there are visions of happiness.”
“Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future was really important to me growing up because it said when the future comes, there will be people like you who are vital and important to that mission of going out there and boldly exploring.”
Prophecy will confirm and broaden the vision; it cannot create one if nothing is there. Vision is created through prayer, seeking God and sharing our hearts with people in the work. If these things are absent we need to be restoring people to God, not creating vision for empty hearts.
“The university's vision is to be a Christian community of learning and service. The Board of Trustees feels it can best fulfill that vision if the board is representative of the broader Christian faith.”
The visions we offer our children shape the future. It _matters_ what those visions are. Often they become self-fulfilling prophecies. Dreams are maps.
I think that the greatest gift God ever gave man is not the gift of sight but the gift of vision. Sight is a function of the eyes, but vision is a function of the heart.
