“Be strong, believe in freedom and in God, love yourself, understand your sexuality, have a sense of humor, don't judge people by their religion, color, or sexual habits, love life and your family.”
“Carol is a fun-loving person with a delightful sense of humor. Everyone enjoys her as a member of the FAI family. Her work is an inspiration to her students and always beautiful and clever with its originality.”
“George is one of today's funniest and most talented television performers, ... He will keep the show moving quickly with his unique brand of humor and we're all looking forward to working with him.”
“The ads were done in such a light-hearted manner that struck a chord in a humorous way. He's a disgusting, loveable icon, but at the end of the day, we're pretty happy where we ended up.”

Now, I have nothing against the public school system as it is presently organized, once you allow the humor of its basic assumption about how it is possible to teach things to children....

It did not look like the work of God, but it might have represented the handicraft of a God with a joyous sense of humor, a dancing God who loved mischief as much as prayer, and playfulness as much as mischief.
Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.
The trick. . .is to find the balance between the bright colors of humor and the serious issues of identity, self-loathing, and the possibility for intimacy and love when it seems no longer possible or, sadder yet, no longer necessary.
